Kuching International Airport
Kuching International Airport is the main international gateway into Sarawak. The new terminal building has the capacity to handle up to five million passengers annually.
In 2007, it handled over 3.23 million passengers with 34,192 aircraft movements. 23,817 metric tonnes of cargo.
Kuching's above average growth rate would prevail as it continues to gain international recognition as a tourism destination with attractive primeval rainforest, majestic mountains and caves plus its flora and fauna and not forgetting the diverse ethnic communities.
