PARKING MANAGEMENT

The short term car park (STCP) consists of 4 parking blocks namely Block A, B, C and D. There are 6208 parking bays for the public.

Block A - currently closed to all users.
Block B and Block C - open for public parking

· Block D - for KLIA staff only and closed for public parking

BUS SERVICES

There are 12 bus bays at the Bus Terminal on the Ground Floor of Block C. The bus services available are:-

Sepang Omnibus - KLIA – Nilai – Banting

· Airport Coach - KLIA – Nilai

- KLIA - LCCT

- KLIA – Kuala Lumpur (Jalan Duta)

· Triton - KLIA – Ipoh

- KLIA – Temerloh

- KLIA - Kuantan

PARKING BAYS/LOTS

There are 11 parking bays for the physically challenged/disable users at Level 2 Block B and also 7 parking bays at Level 2 Block C.

There are also 253 parking bays for car rental operators at the Ground Floor of Block D.

The parking bays are all connected to the Main Terminal Building through 2 skybridges.

For our customers convenience, we provide "Level Counting Indicator" at every level of the parking building. This "Level Counting Indicator" shows the availability of parking lots at that level. Please take time to note this indicator because it ease you to find available parking lots.

In addition, for our customers convenience, we identified each aisle of the parking lot with clear identification. For an example, C-2-6.

C - indicates Block name (Block C)

2 - indicates Level (Level 2)

6 - indicates Aisle number (Aisle number 6).

Therefore, C-2-6 should be read as Block C, Level 2, Aisle number 6. Please remember your parking lot identification name for your easy convenience.

For further added convenience, we are using different coloured chip coin for different parking block.

Blue Chip Coin - for parking building Block B

Yellow Chip Coin - for parking building Block C

PARKING CHARGES AT MAIN TERMINAL BUILDING (MTB)

The parking charges are as follows:-

The normal rate will be re-applied after the 24^th hour parking charge.

The parking charges may be paid through the various autopay stations or at the Counter at each Level 2 Block B and C. Parking charges may be paid through credit cards and cash. In addition, season pass holders may also pay their monthly parking charges through the autopay stations.

The parking rates are inclusive of 5% service tax as required by the Government.

LOSS OF CHIP COIN

A RM50.00 penalty charges together with the required parking charges will be imposed for any loss or damaged of the chip coin.

CLAMPING PENALTY

In addition, the Management also imposes clamping on any vehicle park outside the allocated parking lots. A penalty of RM100.00 is imposed upon release of the clamp.

MOTORCYCLE PARKING

Currently, all motorcycles need to pay parking charge of RM1.00 per entry. The parking lots for motorcycles are located at the Ground Floor, Block A, STCP Building.

There are also retail areas for rent at the car park.

AIRSIDE TRANSIT HOTEL (ATH)

The Airside Transit Hotel (ATH) is conveniently located at Satellite A, for the transit passengers to stay and rest before the next flight. The range of hotel facilities and services include:-

· 80 well furnished rooms with attached bathroom, television and in-room safe

· 24-hour reception

· Gymnasium

· Lounge Bar Café

· Shower facilities

· Spa and sauna

As it is located in the airside area, passengers do not have to go through the inconvenience of the:

· check-out process with the Malaysian Immigration or Customs

· baggage collection process.

· passengers could also save on passenger service charges and taxi charges.

ROOM RATES (APPLICABLE FROM 1st JANUARY 2007)

The room charges are based on per block rate of 6-hours.

· Standard room - RM140 (12 rooms)

· Deluxe room - RM200(18 rooms)

· Superior room - RM160 (49 rooms)

· Suite room - RM230 (1 room)

· An extra bed will cost RM30 (maximum 1 additional person for deluxe room)

· A charge of RM20 per hour up to a maximum of 9 hours only will be levied for additional hours of stay.

Double rates (2 blocks) applicable for stay between 10 - 12 hours.

The rates for the facilities offered are:-

· Shower rate is RM20 per person

· Gym and Shower rate is RM30 per person

· Sauna and Shower rate is RM30 per person

· Internet charge is RM35 per hour per person.

SOUTHERN COMMON AMENITIES FACILITIES (SCAF)

This area offers banking and retail facilities to airport denizens. It is located within the vicinity of the cargo area.

PARKING CHARGES AT SCAF

From June 1^st 2006, all vehicles entering the SCAF area need to pay parking charges. The parking charges are as follows:-
