| The Sultan Azlan Shah Airport used to be a small Fokker airfield. Then in the 1980s, it steadily expanded to accommodate jet aircraft operations. Located 6 km away from Ipoh, today the airport is able to accommodate larger aircrafts, including the Boeing 737 aircraft. |
