Labuan Airport, located 8 km off the coast of Sabah, was declared a Federal Territory in 1984 and today, it is a thriving duty-free port and Malaysia s major offshore international financial center.
With a 16,000 sq. metres terminal, it is equipped to handle up to 1.2 million passengers annually and up to 500 passengers during peak hours. At present, this airport can accommodate larger aircrafts such as the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A330, with 3 aerobridges.

The new Labuan Airport Terminal is only 2 kilometres from the town centre. The airport has four air bridges and state-of-the art passenger and baggage handling facilities. It features duty free shops and beautiful landscaping.
