Malaysia Airports Instagram Photo Contest #iloveklia2
Want to win yourself an iPhone X? Then join us in our annual Instagram Photo Contest! This time, we want you to show us your love for klia2 by taking photos of our terminal and telling us what you like best about it!
Rules & Regulations
- This contest is open to all Malaysian residents including employees of Malaysia Airports (except from Corporate Communications Division)
- The contestant must ensure that his/her Instagram account is not set to "Private" so that the photo can be viewed by public.
- As the first step, the contestant must follow Malaysia Airports Instagram account @malaysiaairports. Next, contestant must repost about this contest poster from Malaysia Airports Instagram account on their profile.
- Then, contestant must post their best photo at klia2 with creative caption that best describes his or her joyful moments, facilities, architecture, or anything related at klia2. Caption must be written in English or Bahasa Malaysia only.
- The contestant needs to put the hashtag #iloveklia2 and tag Malaysia Aiports @malaysiaairports in their submission post.
- There is no entry limit for each contestant. The contestants are free to upload unlimited photographs as long as the rules and regulations are followed.
- Entries must be appropriate for posting on public platforms. Obscene, provocative, otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Malaysia Airports retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. Entries containing public figures/recognizable people (eg. Celebrities, politicians) will be disqualified.
- Minor digital enhancement is permitted (eg. One step enhancement such as “AutoFix”, use of filters such as “sharpen”, use of corrective functions to improve the natural appearance of the image such as “Intensity”) but images that have been significantly modified or appear unnatural will be disqualified.
- No borders/frames/watermarks/signatures/copyright notices may be added to the images. Adding or replacing elements in an image is not permitted.
- Submitted entries must be original (both photo and caption). All submitted entries is a guarantee that the contestant is the author and copyright holder of the photo and caption. In the event that ownership of any entry submitted to Malaysia Airports is contested in any manner, Malaysia Airports retains the discretion to disqualify that entry and discontinue use of the entry.
- By entering the contest, the contestants agree to have their submitted entry displayed for any purpose now or in the future on any of Malaysia Airports electronic (eg. Social media) and non-electronic platforms (eg. Magazine) without any fee or other form of compensation, and agree that Malaysia Airports may make and retain copies of the entries for archival purposes. Photos will be credited to the individual contestant as per the entry submitted. Entries (including non-winning entries) may be selected for display or use in other Malaysia Airports platforms, without permission from the contestant. Malaysia Airports is not responsible for computer system hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, or delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Furthermore, Malaysia Airports is not responsible for: (i) incomplete, or late entries or (ii) any act, failure to act, or delay regarding the transmitting or processing of entries. Malaysia Airports reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend all or any portion of this contest without notice if factors beyond Malaysia Airport’s control, including technical difficulties, disrupt or corrupt the fair or secure administration or operation of the contest. Void where prohibited. Malaysia Airports is entitled to interpret these rules as needed and its decisions are final. Malaysia Airports reserves the right to disqualify any submissions that Malaysia Airports has reason to believe that it is not an original work or does not meet the contests rules. If a winner is disqualified or determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected using the same judging process/criteria described above. Alternate winners are subject to all requirements set forth in these official rules.
- By participating in the contest, the contestant agrees to release and hold harmless Malaysia Airports and its employees from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from his participation in the contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Malaysia Airports and its employees assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from the contest.
- The contest will run from 22 November 2017 to 22 December 2017 30 days. There will be One grand prize winner and 10 consolation prize winners.
- Winners will be selected on the basis of artistic merit and that entries comply with the Rules & Regulations.
- Prizes for the contest are as the following:
a) Grand prize winner x 1: iPhone X (64GB)
b) Consolation winners x 10 : RM300/each
- Winner lists for the contest is final. Winners will be contacted via Instagram and email.
- Malaysia Airports reserves the rights at its absolute discretion to add/amend/vary any of these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.
