SEPANG - Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd also known as Eraman presented the prizes for its two contests organized late last year during a prize giving ceremony held today at EXpress, Level 3 Domestic Arrival, KLIA.
The two contests Shop & Stay and Dining Contest were both held in September and October 2017 respectively. It was one of Eraman’s ways to reward customers that have been very supportive in these contests which have generated interest and awareness for Eraman’s products and offers.
The Shop & Stay Contest received an overwhelming response from the airport community and customers alike which attracted thousands of entries with a contribution of 13% growth.
Encik Zulhikam Ahmad, General Manager of Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd presented the prizes to all the lucky winners. He also expressed his delight over the good response that both contests have received.
“It is great to see that we have so many loyal Eraman customers and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support. This contest which was open to the airport community, including Eraman staff as well as travellers patronising the airport is our way of expressing our thanks to our loyal customers. We hope that with these exclusive prizes, our customers will get excited and be enticed to spend more at Eraman”, said Zulhikam.

During the Shop & Stay Contest period, Eraman customers who spend a minimum of RM40 in a single receipt at EXpress, were entitled to join the contest and win luxury hotel stays in Malaysia. On top of that, these customers were also be entitled to receive a RM10 cash voucher which can be redeemed at Chocolate Shop KLIA and Duty Free Emporium International Arrival Hall, klia2.
The six months contest, Shop & Stay started on 15 September 2017 and ends 14 March 2018 rewards two winners for September – October 2017 contest cycle, October – November 2017 contest cycle and November – December 2017 contest cycle with an exclusive holiday package of four days three nights stay at Shangri La Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa Penang, Tanjong Jara Resort, Terengganu and Hyatt Regency Sabah respectively, while 18 consolation winners received RM100 worth of Eraman cash vouchers each.
Puan Asmara Mansor from Kuching, Sarawak upon finding out about her win said, “I felt very happy and blessed. I can’t believe I have won an amazing holiday trip to Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang. I purchased some breads and buns at EXpress before my flight back to Kuching. This is my second time I have won Eraman’s contest. I remembered I have won RM500 worth of Eraman Shopping Vouchers years back. I guess I am the lucky one”.
The Shop & Stay contest is still on-going until March 2018.
Meanwhile, the Dining Contest which took place from 1 October until 31 December 2017 at Food Garden, rewards three grand prize winners with a return flight tickets to Krabi, Thailand (October winner), Bandung, Indonesia (November winner) and Hanoi, Vietnam (December winner) for two persons for each destination respectively. Three first prize winners received the latest smartphone P10 Huawei while nine consolation winners received Eraman cash vouchers worth RM100 respectively.
“The Dining Contest managed to deliver what it was set out to achieve. This contest a first for Food Garden had gotten the airport community and travellers to dine at Food Garden and create the awareness to the many food offerings that are available in Food Garden. With increase in passenger in the airport and new tenants such as ‘Nasi Kandar’ and ‘Alamin Food Empire’, sales performance had increased overall. Beverage & Dessert increased in sales was due to an increase in transaction which grew by 12% compared to average”, said Zulhikam.
Puan Didayatul Adha Mohd Ros from Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, October’s grand prize winner said, “I was shocked and of course I felt very happy for this win. I plan to go to Krabi with my family during this coming school holidays in March. Thank you Eraman for organizing this contest”.
To join the Dining Contest, customers were required to make an accumulative purchase of RM15 nett from the Beverage and Dessert counter and a combination from another food stall in Food Garden, KLIA.

While customers can participate in the Shop & Stay Contest to win exciting prizes of domestic holiday packages, they can also enjoy a combo of drink and bun for only RM2.50. On top of that, purchasing of RM25 and above at EXpress and our Food and Beverage outlets will entitle customers to receive a complementary Red Packet.
