Hydrant fuelling fully resumed at klia2
SEPANG – Malaysia Airports is pleased to report that hydrant fuelling is fully resumed at klia2 as we have completed all three stages (prerequisite, rectification, testing & commissioning) of rectification plan for the ruptured pipeline.
The rectified fuel pipeline has been confirmed safe by Kuala Lumpur Aviation Fuelling System (KAFS) through certification from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
With the completion of the testing and commissioning phase, all mitigation plans such as facilitation of hydrant fuelling at remote bays, bussing and ambulift services for passenger convenience have ceased effective today, 21 November 2016.
We would like to thank all related stakeholders for their cooperation in helping Malaysia Airports ensure that safety and wellbeing of our passengers as well as operational efficiency at klia2 remain our top priority. We would also like to thank all affected passengers for their patience and forbearance.
