In this latest report series, we are pleased to share that we had completed a total of four locations at the parking apron and another three locations on the taxiways. This has accumulated to a total of 49 locations altogether and marked the completion of Phase 1 of the maintenance work progress in klia2,
In Phase 2, we will extend the grouting injection method to 40 locations, inclusive of several newly identified areas and a few areas that had been maintained in 2015. Phase 2 is determined to further improve the occurrence of pavement depressions.
Grouting injection works for Phase 2 started in August 2016 and currently at 20% completion, with a total number of eight completed locations; four locations on the parking apron and another four locations on the taxiways.
Grouting injection remains the method of choice as it provides less disruption to the terminal operations.
