Latest Update On Systems Disruption At KLIA

SEPANG – Our technical team is now in the midst of stabilising the critical passenger-facing systems at KUL. Meanwhile, all relevant stakeholders such as the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) and also the representatives of airlines operating at KUL, including the Chairman of the Airline Operators Committee (AOC) have been briefed on the latest progress updates and mitigation plans.

We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to this disruption. Please be assured that we are sparing no efforts to provide assistance to passengers and airlines. While the systems are being stabilised, we have deployed about 500 staff to assist passengers on the ground.

All the critical passenger-facing systems at KUL's second terminal, klia2 including the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) are fully functioning. As at 10.30am today, a total of 20 departing flights at KLIA Main terminal has been delayed. Passengers can get more information from our social media feeds and are advised to reach the airport at least four hours before their flight departure time. We are also encouraging passengers to check-in via the respective airlines’ mobile app or website.

We will be issuing further updates on the situation either through our social media platforms or news releases. Meanwhile, do reach out to our friendly Airport CARE Ambassadors or contact 03-8776 2000 if you require information regarding your flight details. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
