Malaysia Airports Pays Tribute To Athletes With #myolympian Campaign

At the same time Malaysia Airports is also calling on Malaysians to nominate and pay tribute to someone whom they think has been an “Olympian” to them – their parents, teachers, boss, for example. Individual Malaysians are encouraged to submit their Olympian nominations to Malaysia Airports using the phrase “#MYOlympian is …” together with a 140-character (or less) summary for their nominations. The best nomination, as deemed by Malaysia Airports, will win a GoPro Hero Session at the end of the Campaign period.

Nazli explains: “Rather than limit our thinking that Olympics is confined only to sporting events, we want to place it in a broader perspective. We want to highlight the fact that there are people in our lives who are, in fact, Olympians in their own ways. We are providing Malaysians a platform to pay tribute to these daily Olympians in their lives.”

The Malaysia Airports #MyOlympian Campaign will run from August 4-21. It is one of several initiatives earmarked to create joyful experiences for travellers at the country’s premier gateways. Travellers can follow the Campaign online on:
