A Business Partner of KL International Airport Since Its Opening in 1998
SEPANG - Malaysia Airports is proud of its long time business partner, Airport Coach Sdn Bhd for transporting passengers at KLIA and creating 20 years of joyful Malaysian experience. Malaysia Airports was invited to celebrate Airport Coach’s 20th anniversary celebration at Sama-Sama Hotel, KLIA this evening that was graced by the Minister of Transport of Malaysia, YB Loke Siew Fook.
Commenting on the 20-year-old partnership that is still growing, YM Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin, acting group chief executive officer of Malaysia Airports said, “Airport Coach was among the pioneer business partners that started its operation at KLIA from day one in 1998. Since then, it has successfully grown and expanded it services to cater for the growing transportation needs of the increasing passengers. With millions of passengers passing through KLIA annually, it is vital for us as the premier gateway into Malaysia to be well equipped with efficient transportation infrastructure and facilities for the convenience of our airport users.”
“As you know 20 years ago there was only one terminal at KLIA serving only 13 million passengers. Now we have two terminals with the launch of klia2 in 2014, and together the two terminals served 58 million passengers in 2017. KLIA is counting on its partners such as Airport Coach, to continue to provide a high level of services to its passengers as the airport continues to grow in passenger traffic year on year,” Raja Azmi further added.
The celebration that evening also included a Hari Raya Open House for orphans from around the Sepang district to feast on local delicacies.
