SEPANG – In view of the MH17 repatriation ceremony which will take place at Bunga Raya Complex KLIA on Friday 22 August, Malaysia Airports would like to advise the public and passengers using KLIA and klia2 on that day to observe proper time management to ensure timely arrival to the airport.
The ceremony is scheduled to commence around 6.00am and end about 1.00pm. It will involve main roads leading to and from KLIA and klia2. Public are also advised not to park their vehicles along the main roads inbound and outbound of KLIA and klia2 to ensure smooth flow of traffic especially with regards to the repatriation ceremony.
Alternative transportation to reach KLIA and klia2 are available by ERL, bus and taxi.
Malaysia Airports will be working closely with Polis DiRaja Malaysia to ensure smooth traffic and reduce any inconveniences to passengers and airport users.
