SEPANG – The Board of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB or the Group) announced an upcoming change in its executive leadership today, with Dato’ Sri Iskandar Mizal Mahmood stepping down from his role as Managing Director (MD) at the end of his contract tenure on 24 October 2023.
Dato’ Sri Iskandar was appointed as the MD of MAHB on 25 October 2021. Throughout his two-year tenure he spearheaded several transformation streams which contributed significantly to the Group’s growth, resulting in the Group’s firm trajectory towards financial recovery from the impact of the global pandemic. The Board would like to thank Dato’ Sri Iskandar for his exemplary service and leadership throughout his tenure with Malaysia Airports.
The Board also announced that the Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Mohamed bin
Rastam Shahrom will assume the role of Acting Group Chief Executive Officer effective 25 October 2023. Mohamed joined MAHB on 1 January 2020 as the Group Chief Financial Officer.
