Response To The Malay Mail Article “Airport Authority ‘Negligent’, Vincent Tan Says After Runway Crash

SEPANG- In reference to the statement made by Tan Sri Vincent Tan in the Malay Mail on the Subang runway accident, we wish to reiterate that investigations are currently still ongoing by the Air Accident Investigation Bureau under the Ministry of Transport as well as the Royal Malaysia Police. Any conclusions at this stage is premature and we urge the media and public to refrain from making any speculation until the investigations are fully completed by the authorities.

The Passing Of Malaysia Airports’ Staff

SEPANG- Malaysia Airports with a heavy heart wish to inform that our staff who was involved in the accident at the runway of Subang Airporthad passed away this evening. After two days of intensive medical care, the victim, Mohd Ruzaimi Iskandar bin Ahmad Razali, 39 passed away at 6.45pm today leaving behind a wife, Nor Azawiah binti Md Usuf and four kids age from 1 to 13 years old.

Malaysia Airports Giving Full Cooperation To The Authorities In Carrying Out Full Investigation On Subang Airport Accident

SEPANG- Malaysia Airports is giving full cooperation to the authorities as they carry out a full investigation following to the recent runway accident at The Subang Airport. We are working closely with Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) and Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) under Ministry of Transport (MOT) on the investigation. In the best interest of all parties, especially the victim’s family during these distressing times, we urge all media and the public not to speculate on the matter further.          

Accident On The Runway Of Subang Airport

SUBANG- This morning at approximately 3.20am, an accident had happened on the Runway of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport Subang involving a private aircraft and an airport engineering vehicle. We are saddened to inform that our staff who was the driver of the vehicle was critically injured. The staff is currently undergoing surgery and we are ensuring that he receives the best medical care, as we pray for his recovery.
