Airports Nationwide Ready To Welcome Travellers And Remain Vigilant In Implementing Safety Measures

SEPANG – Malaysia Airports is glad to welcome travellers back to its network of 39 airports today with the lifting of local and international travel restrictions. Despite low passenger volume, airports nationwide remained in operations throughout the pandemic and had used the lull period to ensure a safe airport experience in anticipation of travel resumption. Apart from the implementation of safety measures to restore air travel confidence, facilities have also been upgraded to further enhance the travelling experience.

Penetapan semula segmen lot komersial di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kota Kinabalu capai status 50% siap

KOTA KINABALU - Malaysia Airports meneruskan usaha proaktifnya dalam mempertingkat pengalaman beli belah para tetamu di lapangan terbang menerusi strategi penetapan semula komersial atau ‘Commercial Reset’.  Penetapan semula lot komersial menerusi pelbagai segmen itu sehingga Julai 2020 telah pun mencapai status siap 50% di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kota Kinabalu (Kod IATA: BKI) selepas ianya diperkenalkan pada November 2018.

Transfer Of LCC Operations From Terminal 2 To Terminal 1 Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA)

SEPANG – Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (Malaysia Airports) has been directed by the Ministry of Transport (MOT) to transfer all operations of low cost airlines and services from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, KKIA. The transfer which allows for 1 month transition period shall take effect by 1 November 2015.

Batik Air to Fly Direct From Jakarta to Kota Kinabalu Twice a Week

KOTA KINABALU – Batik Air will start flying direct from Jakarta Soekarno - Hatta International Airport (CGK) to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) twice a week following its successful inaugural flight today. Kota Kinabalu was chosen as its new destination as part of the plan to expand its international network. Early this month, Batik Air flew to two new Indonesian destinations, Silangit in North Sumatra and Labuan Bajo on the Island of Flores in East Tenggara.
