Malaysia Airports Procurement Process Is Iso 37001:2016 Certified For Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS)

One of the areas that this is practised strictly is in its procurement process which has achieved ISO 37001:2016 certification for its Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS). KL International Airport Welcomes Central Airlines As 18th Cargo Airline

SEPANG – KL International Airport (KLIA) recently welcomed its 18th cargo airline, Central Airlines (IATA Code: I9) from Shenzhen, China that will operate three times weekly using the Boeing 737F aircraft. Central Airlines (also known as Zhongzhou Airlines) is a Chinese cargo airline based in Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. Central Airlines joins two other cargo airlines i.e. Kargo Xpress and GetJet Airlines in starting operations at KLIA this year due to the strong air cargo demand during the pandemic period.

SEPANG - Sejak pembukaan Pusat Pemberian Vaksin (PPV) di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa KL (KLIA) minggu lepas, 90% daripada kakitangan Malaysia Airports yang bertugas di  KLIA telah pun divaksinasi, manakala usaha berterusan sedang dijalankan untuk memvaksinasi komuniti KLIA selebihnya yang terdiri daripada pekerja daripada agensi kerajaan berkaitan, serta pekerja syarikat penerbangan, kargo, perkhidmatan pembersihan dan lain-lain.

COVID-19 Private Screening Facility Opens At KLIA In July To Provide Safe, Quick And Comfortable Arrival Experience

SEPANG – Passengers travelling through KL International Airport (KLIA) will experience a new COVID-19 screening facility starting July 2021. This new facility is among several improvements that Malaysia Airports is implementing to enhance comfort and convenience while going through the necessary travel safety protocols at the airport. Passengers can look forward to shorter wait times upon arrival because this new facility will be able to produce the COVID-19 RTK and RT-PCR results within 15 minutes and 3 hours, respectively.

Heightened Safety Protocols At Airports Nationwide In Support Of The National Recovery Plan

SEPANG – Safety protocols at the network of airports operated by Malaysia Airports have been heightened in line with the latest Movement Control Order (MCO) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in support of the National Recovery Plan announced by the Prime Minister. These improved SOPs aim to help the country flatten the curve and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Runway 1 At KLIA Fully Rehabilitated And Ready To Support The Recovery Of Flights

SEPANG – The Runway 1 of KL International Airport (KLIA) has been fully rehabilitated and is now ready to support the recovery of flights operations after passing the recent calibration and audit checks by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM). The rehabilitation exercise was part of the KLIA Runway Sustainability Master Plan that contains a full-fledged framework for the continuous safety of flight operations at the airport.

Southeast Asia’s First MRO Facility Capable Of Handling Full Aviation Asset Life Cycle Taking Roots In Subang Airport

SEPANG – Southeast Asia’s first MRO facility that can handle the full life cycle of aviation assets will be set up in Subang Airport through a collaboration between Malaysia Airports and homegrown global player Dviation Group of Companies. The new facility offers end-to-end aftermarket services including maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), aircraft teardown, aircraft material recycling and parts trading.

KLIA Starts Disinfecting Arriving Baggage With Newly Installed UV Tunnels

SEPANG- KL International Airport (KLIA) has started disinfecting arriving baggage with its new automatic ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system as part of its continuous efforts to curb COVID-19. The new facility comprising UV bulbs installed in an enclosed tunnel within the baggage handling system (BHS) disinfects baggage automatically as it passes through the conveyor system. Two out of four tunnels have been successfully installed while the remaining tunnels are expected to be completed next month.
